Travel Grants

GSA Travel Grant Application

The GSA Travel Grant is funded by the Department of Agricultural Economics and managed by the Graduate Student Association.  The primary goal of the Travel Grant is to provide financial aid to meet the needs of students attending conferences, specially those presenting papers or developing meaningful activities for their projects and Texas A&M. For this purpose the GSA has a budget that allows grant scholarships of up to $250.00 per applicant, taking into consideration the applicant’s financial need and how important the attendance to the respective conference will be.  Priority is given to students presenting papers. In order to apply, students may send their completed application to Justin Benavidez at benavidezjustin@tamu.edu or Ana Thayer at athayer@tamu.edu. After review, applicants will be contacted with information concerning their selection.
