This is a one of a kind doctorate, offered in cooperation with the Mays Business School, to cultivate a more cohesive learning environment for those who wish to tailor their PhD to the Agribusiness sector. Students will complete core course work in applied economics through the Agricultural Economics department and course work in their chosen field area of Finance, Marketing, Management, or Supply Chain Management through the Mays Business School.
The PhD in Agrbusiness and Managerial Economics will provide students with:
- Strengths of applied economics with concentrations in business fields of finance, marketing, strategic management, or supply chain management
- Field courses taken from both Mays Business School and Department of Agricultural Economics.
- Ability to integrate analytical skills across economics and business disciplines.
